Hi, I'm Patrick Fergus O'Reilly

I'm a third level Computer Science student who received a H1 in the Leaving Cert, and I have a genuine passion for tutoring and helping others succeed.

At O'Reilly Grinds, I specialise in providing high-quality, personalised tutoring for Leaving Certificate students in Maths and Computer Science. My goal is to help you build confidence, master challenging concepts, and reach your academic potential.

Having completed the Leaving Cert in 2024, I understand exactly how to help you succeed. I know the curriculum inside out and can provide the support that makes a real difference.

Academic Background

Leaving Certificate: Achieved a H1 in Higher Level Maths, demonstrating mastery of the curriculum at the highest level.

Third Level: Currently studying Computer Science at Trinity College Dublin with a 1.1, excelling in advanced programming, algorithms, and computational theory.

Teaching Experience

For the past 2 years, I've been tutoring students in Computer Science alongside me at university level, helping them grasp complex programming concepts and succeed in their coursework. I've also been offering grinds to relatives who needed help with Leaving Certificate Mathematics, which has given me valuable insight into the common challenges students face.

This hands-on experience has taught me how to break down difficult topics into manageable steps, adapt my teaching style to different learners, and most importantly, build the confidence that students need to excel in their exams.
